The Third International Workshop

'Market Studies and Spatial Economics'

The Center for Market Studies and Spatial Economics invites you to participate in the Third International Workshop 'Market Studies and Spatial Economics', which will take place in Moscow, Russia on April 15–16, 2021 as part of the XXII April International Academic Conference on Economic and Social Development (HSE).

Researchers interested in the following fields are encouraged to apply:

Industrial organization
Spatial economics
International trade
Urban economics
New economic geography

Both theoretical and empirical papers will be considered.
The paper submission period for the Workshop will be open until 25 December 25, 2020; applicants will be notified as to whether their submission was approved by January, 25, 2021.

The programme will be available in late March.

No proceedings of the Workshop will be published.

*Please note that speakers are not permitted to submit duplicate applications to both the main conference and the Workshop.

If a participant of the Workshop plans to attend the main programme of the April Conference, he/she must pay the registration fee of the April Conference.

VENUE and FORMAT. Ideally, we would like to welcome all our participants at HSE University in Moscow, Russia. If international travelling is restricted, the workshop will be held online. We hope to confirm the workshop’s format (online or offline) by February 1, 2021.

Update [12.01.2021]: The Workshop will be held ONLINE.

Update [23.01.2021]: The workshop committee has decided to extend the workshop, and the new dates are: April 14-16, 2021. We believe this solution has a better match with the online format of the event.
