Accommodation and Visa

Please note that most foreign citizens are required to obtain a visa at the nearest Russian consulate to their place of residence before they enter Russia.

As of 2021, foreigners from 52 countries will be able to apply for a single e-visa online without any documents confirming their reasons for travel. However, if necessary, HSE University will provide accepted participants with visa support in the form of an official visa invitation (for instance, if the participant is not eligible for an e-visa).
