Market Studies and Spatial Economics section within the XIX April International Academic Conference om Economic and Social Development

Center for Market Studies and Spatial Economics is organizing the section "Market Studies and Spatial Economics" within the XIX April International Academic Confernce on Economic and Social Development that is to take place in Moscow on April 10th - 13th, 2018.

The section "Market Studies and Spatial Economics" is intended to bring together economists doing research in the areas of industrial organization, spatial economics, international trade, urban and regional economics, as well as new economic geography. 

We invite all researchers interested in presenting their results related to the topic of our section to submit their extended abstracts or (preferably) full papers by November 13th, 2017. 

Please note that you need to register in the system to make a submission and choose "Market Studies and Spatial Economics" as conference topic #1 if you would like to apply to our section. 

Participants from CIS and Eastern European countries whose papers have been included in the Conference Programme may apply for a grant from the World Bank to cover travel and accommodation costs. Applications should be sent to interconf@hse.ru by February 12, 2018. 

For accepted participants with insufficient funds who are not eligible for the World Bank grant, we will offer a limited number of travel grants that will be awarded on a competitive basis.
